Four years ago, I stumbled upon a tool that completely transformed my workflow.
Now, I can whip up proposals in no time, broadcast messages globally, and keep my priorities crystal clear.
What’s the secret tool?
Private podcasts.
Let me explain.
Private podcasts are just like regular ones, except they're locked behind a secret link. They're not listed on any podcast platform or search engine, making them exclusive.
➡️ For organisations, this means sharing insider stories or operational insights internally.
➡️ For individuals, it means you can record yourself on coaching sessions, and play it back later in time, as a reminder of things you need to do.
It also means you can learn and listen on the go.
Here are 5 ways you can use a private podcast to dramatically improve your workday (4 is my favourite)
1. Personal Mastery
I created my secret, bespoke podcast that I call, “Stuff Leanne Needs to Remember”. On this podcast, I throw in coaching calls, mastermind sessions, anything I think will be helpful to remember. I’ve also recorded potential client scoping calls, so that I can listen back when I write the proposal, ensuring what I offer fits their needs.
2. Scaling corporate culture / messages
I’ve hosted, created and trained internal employees on starting their own organisational podcasts. In these, we have episodes where we interview employees around the world, find out how they like to work, what they’re working on, so that anyone new in the business can tune in, and get to know how the business operates. I’ve also conducted stakeholder listening tours for departments, interviewing key people and sharing their observations. These podcasts elevate the corporate narrative.
3. Exclusive Audiobook Launch:
I celebrated my bestselling "The 2-Hour Workshop Blueprint" book launch by gifting early purchasers a complimentary audiobook version, accessible on their preferred platforms like Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
4. Making it easy for your clients to learn:
Who wants to sit down and watch a webinar replay, or video content? Not me! I’d rather work at the dog park. My signature, “Booked Out Facilitator" program, is available in podcast form, with accompanying workbook. No need to log in to a learning platform, it reduces the learning friction immensely.
5. Ideation on Demand
For those seeking to delve deeper through a "Pick My Brain" session or any creative brainstorming, I offer a unique perk—a personal private podcast. This means you can revisit our conversation effortlessly.
How do I do it?
