Two Friends Reflecting on Shane Warne

I wasn’t expecting to fire up the laptop today but after waking up to “the news”, I had to debrief it with a friend.

So, who better to reflect on the life of Warnie, than spin-bowler and cricketing tragic, James Carpenter (JC).

When I lived in Broome, WA - JC and I would often talk about Warnie and how much we loved him.

So, today was a good opportunity to hop on a Zoom call to share our thoughts and reflections on the impact of Warnie's life on us.

What I loved most about Warnie was his ability to live large, to play it fearlessly. To be okay with making mistakes.

Warnie was #1 on my “dream guest” list for the new podcast, “Work and Live Large” - because he embodied everything about that phrase.

No one else lived it better.

Vale Shane Warne.
