The Talent Development Think Tank conference.
Whoa, so much to recap! Here’s a quick snapshot of the last few days in Sonoma, California at the Talent Development Think Tank conference.
Jerry Connor: Leaders need to start seeing multiple possible future and cycle experiments, instead of seeing the future as a continuation of the past.
Kevin M. Yates wowed us with an immersive case study with the take-home message: “If you don’t plan for impact at the beginning, you won’t be able to find it”.
Susan J. Schmitt Winchester made all of us shed a tear with her incredible impactful story of Healing at Work. A stunning keynote. I loved a question she shared, “What animal are you when you show up to work?”
Jess Almlie, M.S. shared the acronym of the week: TILT (Thing I Learnt Today)
Claude Silver said it was crucial to eliminate fear in a business, and that you needed to find our where there was fear, and stamp it out. Incredibly inspiring to hear the work they’re doing to build the Honey Empire (love your work, Gary Vaynerchuk).
Andy Storch rocked the final keynote, sharing his six steps to owning your career. He has hosted a simply fantastic last couple of days, bringing together a bunch of eager people, all generous and keen to learn from each other.
I loved delivering my sessions today on bringing a marketing approach to T&D, a big day!
I’m back on Day 3 delivering my session on designing a 2-Hour Workshop (based on my new beta book), bring it on!
