Signing off 2023 and here to say THANKS for the ideas, LinkedIn.

I’m here to leave you with a powerful question reframe that helped me finally release a book this year...

(After years of wanting to do the thing. And yes, I’m long overdue a LinkedIn tagline update. Will make that a 2024 thing).

Anyway, I've stopped starting my 2024 planning by asking: What do I want to do next year?

Instead, I ask myself this question first:
Who do I want to BE in 2024?

I decided in 2023 it was time to finally BE AN AUTHOR.

So, when January kicked off, I started to do author-y things like:
- Write every day
- Read books about writing
- Join a writing community
- Jump on writing accountability calls
- Talk to other authors about their experience

There are so many great identities to choose from, and I’m not saying you need to shift identities or change it up BUT it’s nice to be intentional sometimes,, as that helps provide some guardrails when strategising your year ahead.

Finally:
It’s great we’re connected on here.
A lot of my inspiration comes from seeing what YOU’RE up to!
It constantly pushes my frame of what’s possible in work and life.

So, thank you!

P.s. I recorded a big reflection episode about my 2023: Check out my annual report video/podcast, link is in the comments.
