No one "Works in Public" better than Jimmy Carr!

Towards the end of his show in Brisbane last week, he took out a piece of paper and started reading draft jokes. He'd deliver the joke, wait, listen to our response, and then note down whether the joke was a hit or not. He did this on-stage, in front of thousands of people. Brave!

When you're a comedian, you receive feedback in real-time. But you have to have the courage to stand up (literally) and try jokes that may not work. My face was sore from laughing the whole time because Jimmy has honed his delivery from over 20 years of performing. Not only that, he interacts with the crowd, so you get to experience what he's like off the cuff: Very Good.
