I don’t bring my whole self to work.

Scrolling through my socials, you might assume I’m head-over-heels in love with every aspect of my job. Reality check: I'm not ❌

(On an aside, yes, the photo here captures a time when I was immersed in a delightful work conversation on a Perth rooftop last Friday, amidst incredible people and bubbles.. Awesome).

But, there's so much that remains unseen.

Tasks that test my resolve. Mundane chores (let’s face it, usually admin). Dual feelings of adoration and frustration being my own boss. There are days riddled with tough chats, overdue apologies, and calls at unspeakable hours.

However, hand me a mic or turn on a camera, and you're met with a vivacious, engaging, and curious me. Because that’s the role I need to play.

I’m not paid to be 100% Leanne.

I’m paid to be in the role of consultant/expert/speaker, to help you get the result, grow, and have your own wins.

Authenticity doesn’t mean foregoing performance. In diverse social contexts, we often wear masks. It's about aptly adapting…sometimes, even course correcting.

I feel like I’m getting pretty good at the art of being present when needed and stepping back to recharge.

I call this the HIIP approach: High Intensity Interval Performer (think of a HIIT workout: Where you go super hard and get that heart-rate up, and then have time to recover).

Some of you thrive on consistency, and hats off to you.

But my rhythm? It involves intense bursts of flurried activity followed by deliberate downtime, only to rev up all over again. And I love that variety.

My Burnout expert friends might have a thing or two to say on this, but isn't it all about understanding our personal rhythms?

I feel like a lot of this is tuning out the narrative of what people tell us we SHOULD be doing, and being aware of the flow that works for you.

(oh and yes, I’m not here to tell you how you should live, rather sharing my experiences of waking up and realising we have the agency to craft our own narrative).

Do you have intense bursts of productivity followed by relaxation, or do you maintain a consistent pace? What works for you?

Hi I’m Leanne. 👋 Let’s make work great again.

Whether I'm wearing my strategist, speaker, or coach hat, I’m all about helping you and your team towards impactful results. But here's the catch: I'm a firm believer in not just reaching the destination, but figuring out how to fall in love with the process – because that's when genuine growth happens.

📘 I’ve written a book to help you design fast, deliver strong (without stress) called: The 2-Hour Workshop Blueprint (https://2hourwork.shop).

During the week, you can find me jogging, brainstorming, or working with clients on rooftop bars :)
