Constructive Delusion
"If you want to build a city, with no money, talk to me"
I loved this line from Maha Sinnathamby AM during his Beauty of Failure keynote speech in Springfield today.
The phrase, "Constructive Delusion" popped me into my mind as I heard Maha describing what he had achieved.
On so many occasions, he was told, YOU CAN'T DO THAT!
❌ You can't build a railroad to Springfield
❌ You can't have a university in Springfield
❌ You can't have a golf course in Springield...
❌ or a university... or a stadium...
But, he did it all of the above and he'll do more.
The key message that Maha kept reiterating in his speech was, "If it's legal and right, then have the conviction that it can be done"
Such a great resilience reminder. Thank you, Maha!
Oh and it was great having dad along as my guest today. I'm greasing the wheels to getting him consulting with me!
