A non-linear presentation…What on earth is that?

Aren't we taught that all presentations must have a beginning, middle and end?

Well, according to this guy: No! It's okay to skip between powerpoint slides and content, depending on what your group is after.

How good! So responsive.

What's the story here?

Well, back in May 2021, my friend and fellow podcast host, Kate Norris pinged me and said, “Leanne, you’ve got to get Johnny Quinn on your podcast”, and well, you've always got to take a Kate recommendation seriously.

After chatting to Johnny on the First Time Facilitator podcast, I realised it wasn’t just another interview.

This was legitimately a masterclass in an innovative way of leading workshops, conferences, training, presentations.

Fast forward 3 years, and I got to meet Johnny IRL in Queenstown.

What’s sad about my show is that we focus on one thing: Hosting group experiences.

So, when you do that, you kind of don't hear someone's whole story.

Johnny is a guy that is accumulating some amazing life experience - from his multiple careers, through to the time he was David in a Goliath battle with the guy who owns the Empire State Building (true story).

In his spare time, he’s also president of the Queenstown Coast Guard.

After chatting to him, feel like I need to do more with my life…!
