"If you're not producing 9000 pieces of content/minute, you're failing at business." ๐
Btw, that's not a direct Gary Vaynerchuk quote but it kinda sounds like something he'd say.
My camera guy, Sean Smith and I were laughing about all the behind the scenes content we shot yesterday. As Gary V says - document the creation process!
I booked in Sean, to help me create a few months worth of video content, to support my AMAZING online communities (Show.Up and Virtually Possible, a collab with Joeri - The Magic Sauce ๐ฅซ)
Video is a terrific way to create content quickly, particularly when all you have to do is rock up and talk.
Here's what I learnt:
- When you make a mistake. Pause. Take a breath. Then, start again. I had a habit of getting frustrated (like I took a bad golf swing)
- Structure is critical. I had a list of words down the page, and we just kept rolling and rolling. My shot list was simply bullet points, written on an A4 page, with a sharpie!
- Bring a wardrobe change to mix it up
- Bring props to place in the background
- Donโt forget to use your hands when you talk
- Donโt clap when you talk, not great for audio
